FINDING A SEAT AT GOD’S TABLES

AROUND GOD’S TABLES

You will find a lot of tables around our space, all of which have plenty of seating. All of them encourage connecting.

  • Around the communion or Lord’s Table, the Lord connects to us and nurtures us in our faith, hope, and love.

  • In our Session room, our elders meet to dialogue prayerfully with one another to discern what God wants from us and then deliberate on how to respond.

  • In our other rooms are tables where we eat and learn together.

  • Outside are tables to which we invite our surrounding neighbors to come and be both fed and enjoy fellowship.

EXPANDING GOD’S TABLES INTO THE REGION

  • We want to extend all of our tables to our neighbors in our Lima Center region. .

  • We want to know our neighbors, befriend them, and learn from them how we might best practice our witness to Jesus Christ and his hospitality.

  • Maybe you have ideas to share?

“Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself at a place near your altar, Lord Almighty (Psalm 84:3).” We are home to many of God’s creatures.
